KROQ Dot Com

The last year I was at KROQ was primarily focused on working with the folks at corporate to build the model for all of the CBS Radio websites.  KROQ was the guinea pig and we had a voice in the way the sites should look, would work, etc.  Even after I left, I still help(ed) out with some graphics, coding and photography.  The latest incarnation of KROQ.com still features all of my tweaks to the code, graphics and photography to differentiate the KROQ version of CBS’s site and to make it their own.

The background is customized, all the DL css graphics and nav bar graphics are customized, and my photo of Dave Grohl is used as one of the lead images at this moment!

Weenie Ads & Backgrounds (Kinda Sounds Wrong, Doesn’t It?)

Once again, I produced all of the KROQ Weenie Roast banner ads and backgrounds for the KROQ website.  The banners were seen all over the CBS Radio network of websites as well as the bands sites and other various locations.  The background was not only on the KROQ site but on a number of other CBS Radio sites.

What We Wanted KROQ To Look Like

When I started to work on the KROQ website, I quickly realized that the version of the site at the time was so band-aided together that we needed an overhaul.  I came up with the idea below based on our needs and wants, and completely overhauling the design.  Although the didn’t get past a Photoshop mockup, it is still one of my favorite incarnations.
