It’s Like Halloween On Christmas… Or Christmas On Halloween?

Before we know it, another year of the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas shows will be here. Lucky for me, now is the time I get to start conceptualizing ideas for these cool little announce videos. These are so much fun to do and I can’t wait to pull my annual “all-nighters” once again! Here are my favorite Acoustic videos. I called this the “theme” year as you can see each night’s video had a particular theme.

REVIEW – Foo Fighters Destroy the Dragonfly

My ears are still ringing. When this happens you know you went to a great show the previous night, especially when the band that played was the Foo Fighters. I’ve seen the Foos a number of times, from big venues like Dodger Stadium to the tiniest of bars like Paladinos… twice. There was something special about last night though. I don’t know if it was the anticipation leading up to it, or their absence from the live music scene for a while but I couldn’t have bee more pumped to see them.

Lately, the Foo Fighters have really taken a liking to using social media to spread the word about their shows, album teases and more. Just last week, the band used Twitter to announce a secret show in Santa Barbara. Echo Curio Likes FIM And You Should Too!


Echo Curio has had FIM play a bunch of times and did a nice little write up about them recently.

“FIM is just one of those bands that you better see now, because pretty soon they will be on tour with Trans Am or Beck and you won’t be seeing this astoundingly fun group in little spots like ours”.
