KROQ Dot Com

The last year I was at KROQ was primarily focused on working with the folks at corporate to build the model for all of the CBS Radio websites.  KROQ was the guinea pig and we had a voice in the way the sites should look, would work, etc.  Even after I left, I still help(ed) out with some graphics, coding and photography.  The latest incarnation of KROQ.com still features all of my tweaks to the code, graphics and photography to differentiate the KROQ version of CBS’s site and to make it their own.

Amp Radio in Los Angeles used my artist designed backgrounds for about a year straight, changing them out about once a week.  Below are a few of the artist backgrounds I created.

LAKings.com Overhaul

From day 1 at the LA Kings I had one thing in mind.  This site needs to be graphically overhauled.  flash forward to less than a year later, and that has happened.  All the background images, header images, logos, among other things that appear on the LAKings.com website have taken a drastic 180° change.  See the site right now below…

Now more than ever the LA Kings website is on top of its game.  It includes abundant social media integration, interactive widgets and plentiful ad-space without getting in the way of the content.  Compare it to the incarnation of the site below…

FIM Logo

FIM is my brother’s band, so I usually help him out as much as I can with their flyers, websites, logos, and anything else.  In this post you can see a few show flyers, their website design, logos, and their first CD’s backing and track-list.

What We Wanted KROQ To Look Like

When I started to work on the KROQ website, I quickly realized that the version of the site at the time was so band-aided together that we needed an overhaul.  I came up with the idea below based on our needs and wants, and completely overhauling the design.  Although the didn’t get past a Photoshop mockup, it is still one of my favorite incarnations.
